I have been involved in the photographic industry since leaving school in 1985, when I shot my 1st gig, which was LiveAid at Wembley

 

I specialise in various types of photography, including Sports, Events, Portraits / Studio Work and Weddings.

My documentary style of photography, lets you relax and be yourselves – I don’t stop you in what you’re doing, I don’t interrupt you or get you to pose for the camera, unless you'd like to of course. This means you get honest, natural and emotive images, which let you remember your day in the years to come – just the way it was.

And now for a bit of tech...

Having worked in, and owned a professional film processing laboratory for 16 years, specialising in all "wet" photographic processes, I have a scientific understanding of how camera film was made and how it reacted to light and chemicals. With this knowledge, I have created a set of filters for Adobe Lightroom, which replicate the effects/characteristics of certain film types, when applied to a digital image.
